The Entrepreneur Lawyers
Ryan Lewert
Ryan Lewert is a native Floridian and a driven law student at Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law. Ryan focuses his studies on gaining transactional and entrepreneurial skills to help him better assist business owners with their corporate needs. As a second year law student, Ryan is a Dean’s Excellence Scholar who has received three CALI Book awards for earning top grades in Contracts, Legal Research and Writing I, and Legal Drafting Workshop. Specializing in intellectual property, Ryan has strengthened his commitment to working with business owners by providing free transactional representation to early-stage entrepreneurs through The Sharon and Mitchell W. Berger Entrepreneur Law Clinic at Nova. Ryan has also served as Teaching Assistant to Professors Joseph Hnylka and Roma Perez in their Torts and Contracts classes, and he is a member of the Transactional Law Practice Group, Intellectual Property Law Society, and Association of Business Law Students at Nova.
Before law school, Ryan was a dedicated musician who completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Classical Music Composition with a certificate in Entrepreneurship at the University of Central Florida, where he sharpened his attention to detail by writing works for piano, string quartet, and full orchestra. After deciding to attend law school, Ryan found that the same precision and discipline that guided his musical training were essential skills for drafting legal documents and conducting legal research.
Ryan is inspired by the stories of successful business founders and believes in having a relentless commitment to excellence. Ryan enjoys caffeine, spending time outdoors, and watching movies with his girlfriend, Tori.
